App-tastic Ideas for O.T’s and P.T’s

In this workshop, participants will discover iPad apps that can be used for therapy intervention and services for students of all ages.  There will be an exploration of the many ways the iPad can be utilized to enhance a person’s independence with the use of built-in accessibility features, third party applications and more!  Participants will also discover many apps and accessories that can reduce barriers and create opportunities for people with disabilities.  Please feel free to bring your personal handheld device, as there will be plenty of time for hands-on involvement.   

* Basic iPad navigation skills are needed. These skills can be learned at NEAT's workshop, "App-tastic Beginnings in Special Education!”
