What is the NEAT Center at Oak Hill Assistive Technology Lending Library?

The NEAT Center at Oak Hill Assistive Technology Lending Library is a service that loans assistive technology devices to paid professional members of the NEAT Center at Oak Hill.

Requests for devices may be made by any paid professional member of the NEAT Center.

POLICY UPDATE:

In order to ensure that loaned devices are returned in a timely manner and that the AT Lending Library continues to operate in an efficient and effective manner the following new policy has been implemented.

Items may be borrowed for a maximum of 6 weeks. 

Failure to return items by the due date will generate an invoice for full replacement value of item(s) and will suspend borrowing privileges for the organization, district or individual.

Photos may be stock photos from manufacturer and styles and colors may vary. 

Availablility is on a first come, first serve basis.  NEAT does maintain and honor our waiting list.

How do I borrow equipment and what is the fee?

Any current professional member may borrow available equipment from the NEAT Center's lending library.

If you are:

a member/employee/consultant of an organization ex. a school system or private provider and are renting the equipment as a representative as such, please have the organization:

·         Provide a written authorization giving you permission to rent the equipment

·         Provide a purchase order or company check for the anticipated rental fee. 

·         Call NEAT prior to picking up the equipment to ensure that the authorization has been received.

·         Fax or bring the documentation with you when you pick up the equipment

  Credit card deposits and payments accepted.

If you are:

an individual professional member ex. OT or PT and would like to borrow equipment on your own, please bring provide two separate payments:

·         The full replacement cost of each item. (Your check written out to NEAT for the full replacement cost of the item(s) will be returned to you, un-cashed, upon return of the equipment.)

·         The total anticipated rental fee.

Credit card deposits and payments accepted.
